Hi! Welcome to my website. I am an environmental social scientist interested in combining quantitative methods and extensive qualitative sources to understand the political economy of climate change and deforestation, among other environmental problems.
Currently, I am a PhD candidate in the Political Science Department at the University of California, Los Angeles. My research has been funded by the US National Science Foundation, Mexico’s National Council for Science and Technology, the Horowitz Foundation, the Institute for International Conflict and Cooperation, and the UCLA Latin American Studies Center. My work has been published or is forthcoming in The Journal of Politics, World Development, and Foro Internacional.
